To: Andy...
I must have struck a nerve...
Nope...My first time here...and if you are the forum cop...You might go to Iran or China...where speech is regulated to fit the "theme" Do you suggest "we" must all follow "groupthink" for your approval?

I am a realist...and pragmatist...I 'support' the effort to hold Indonesia to account for coddling terrorist and killing people for drug offenses...I support Schapelle Corby and that was how I found this site.

I don't think anything of value comes with burying your head in the sand and then hope for a miracle - All condemned, non-Indonesians facing the death penalty are about 99.999% doomed. Upbeat, positive and acousitc guitars will not change that.

Default Not necessarily

Well considering how much bait you loaded into the first few lines, how could
one think otherwise. You should have directed it to whose "manifesto" you
were referring too. This is really what a troll does--check the definition.
Any reasonable person would have made the same conclusion I did--so no
you didn't hit a nerve.

Actually I wish they would lock this group to registered members because
the real problem today is that people are not willing to be accountable for
their own words. Its a unique thing with electronic media. Most people
would behave a lot differently if they had to look the same people face to
face.

However the technology has to work... :-(

Not really either :-) You might get that more from Kate :-)

There is an interesting "trend" that people hide behind "Unregistered" to
pump negative BS into the forum. That kind of thing is unacceptable to me
as well as most people who would post here.

Your points are indeed true and can't be argued against. Certainly the
points you brought up about the positions being smart--but thats also
not the point of this forum.

Perhaps it makes sense to start a "lets keep the kiddies that think they
can make money trafficing drugs inside the borders" forum. As I am also
a pragmatist you will probably acheive nothing in this.

Great. We all knew that and apparently some lurker now knows it too.
But then again scanning the thread-baren title one would guess this. Where
is the positive contribution in sharing that?

Cheers

Well there you go again...wanting to "control" the board.

If I had a fancy "moniker" and registered it - would I be any less anonymous?

So, let's not make this board about "Andy" or "Unregistered"...and stay on topic.

I wish you would really find something better to do.

There is a very simple reason why we like people to register - too many unregistered posters and we lose track of who wrote what and when.

Another reason is so we can call people by their screen names, much friendlier than having to use ‘Hi unregistered.’

Please let’s not get into arguments about such small things while the people we come here to support are facing the prospect of life in prison, or worse.

Ahhhh yes....it's very clear this "Forum" - is more about a few people who have the need to lead...on their little powertrip of "dicktating" who can say what, when, where and why...What a complete hypocracy in every sense!

I see post after post filled with "Me Me manifesto" as these poor souls count their last days....

HERE IS A little info for you compliments of Merriam Webster: Forum>>

1 a: the marketplace or public place of an ancient Roman city forming the center of judicial and public business b: a public meeting place for open discussion c: a medium (as a newspaper or online service) of open discussion or expression of ideas....
