Like I said... "This is an arguement that could go backwards and forwards forever... but my opinion is that the death penalty is an abhorrant, cruel and senseless "punishment"."

Your opinion is respected but do not expect me to agree with you...

We all have our own views - and I am not blind to Saddam's atrocities, nor do I condone them - but my stance is no Death Penalty at all for anyone and that to me is fair. I can't be half and half on such a serious issue. I think Saddam incarcerated for the rest of his life was a fair enough punishment but totally outrageous for Martin and Michael, 20 years for Renee and death for Scott, Matthew, Si Yi, Andrew, Tan, and Myuran is way beyond comprehension for me... in comparission to Saddam (and honestly - there is no comparisson really) all of the Bali 9 have served more than enough time and should be home with their families...
